Urban Contemporary Voices Zac Boetes, Warren Dykeman, Robert Hardgrave, Charles Krafft, Laura Loverich, Jesse Reno, Marco Zamora November 2 – December 3, 2009 November 2: Live Action Painting and Discussion, 1 PM, Esvelt Gallery Artist Presentation: 6 PM, L102 Opening Reception: 7 PM, Esvelt Gallery This group exhibit features an eclectic mix of works by seven Urban Contemporary artists who are influenced by graffiti/Street art, Pop art, and the Surrealist and Neo-Expressionist movements. Their work offers viewers a fresh, sharp and stimulating visual language that explores not only socio-economic issues such as globalization and consumerism, but also the individual psyche, Americana, and spirituality. Gallery Hours: M-Th 8 AM-8:30 PM Fr 8 AM-4:30 PM
