Dear Pacific Northwest resident,
We are from Educational and Public Media, and the Murrow School of Communication at Washington State University. We are asking people from the region over the age of 18 to identify what they consider to be the problems facing their communities.
We would like to invite you to participate in this project by answering the following questions. Your input will help us to better understand your concerns about your communities and the region.
The survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. Your answers will be completely anonymous. No personally identifiable information will be retained. Data from this study will be downloaded from the server and stored on a secure hard drive in a locked office in the Murrow School of Communication. The surveys will be removed from the Web site by the end of 2009.
Your participation is entirely voluntary and you can stop answering the questionnaire at any time.
If you have questions about your rights as a participant, you can call the WSU Institutional Review Board at (509) 335-3668. This project has been reviewed and approved for human participation by the WSU IRB. If you have questions about the study itself, you can contact Douglas Blanks Hindman at the School of Communication at 509-335-6149.
If you consent, and are over the age of 18, please proceed by clicking the “start survey” link below. |
