The University of Oregon experienced power outages in several buildings Monday.

On the first morning back from winter break the University of Oregon campus community experienced a series of explosions. The booms and resulting smoke were traced to an underground tunnel which houses the electrical power system.

Have A Game Plan For Game Day

Big games in Corvallis and Eugene this weekend mean potential traffic headaches for travelers in Oregon.

Saturday the Oregon State Beavers take on the Washington State Cougars at home in Corvallis. Then a couple hours later, the Oregon Ducks play the University of Washington Huskies in Eugene. The two games will bring a lot of traffic. Officials are urging fans to have a game plan.

Former Dean Of The U of O School Of Music Is Murdered

Anne Dhu McLucas was the former dean of the University of Oregon School of Music.

The former dean of the University of Oregon School of Music was killed Friday along with her boyfriend. Lane County Sheriff's deputies responded to a 911 call at their home south of Eugene and found Anne Dhu McLucas and James Gillette.
